TERMS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE "SNAPPI WAITLIST" ACTIVITY
The company under the name "SNAPPI BANK S.A." (hereinafter referred to as "SNAPPI") in the context of promoting its products and services, organizes the "WAITLIST" activity (hereinafter referred to as "the Activity"), according to the following terms. Before taking part in the Activity, please carefully read these Terms and Conditions of Participation (hereinafter "the Activity Terms"), which are also posted on the website https://www.snappibank.com. If you do not accept the Activity Terms, you should not participate in the Activity.
Α. ELIGIBILITY AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
1. All persons who have reached the age of 18 years, are tax residents of Greece and have full legal capacity are eligible to participate.
2. Excluded from participation are the employees and representatives of SNAPPI and its affiliated companies, as well as their first-degree relatives, their spouses or anyone else professionally related to the promotional activity in question.
3. Participation in the Activity presupposes and implies the unconditional acceptance of all of these terms and conditions, even if they are modified in the future, as stated below, as well as the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use of the website https://www.snappibank.com
3. Participants declare their participation by completing and submitting the special online form, which will be available exclusively through the website https://www.snappibank.com.
4. Each person is entitled to one entry.
5. Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions is invalid.
Β. "EARLY ACCESS" & GIFTS
1. Participating persons will be given the opportunity for early access to the SNAPPI application ("Early Access"). Specifically, participating persons will receive, via the email address they provide, a notification allowing them to download the SNAPPI application from the App Store or Google Play prior
to the official launch of the SNAPPI application, to follow the process available through the application ("Digital Onboarding") in order to become SNAPPI customers
2. It is clarified that the Early Access feature provided through the Activity does not automatically turn the participating persons into SNAPPI customers. SNAPPI reserves the right to reject enrollment requests during Digital Onboarding if the terms and conditions set for new customer enrollment are not met or if the participating person does not accept the respective terms and conditions.
3. The date of Early Access availability is determined solely by SNAPPI and will be communicated to the participating persons via email in due course, pursuant to the decision of SNAPPI.
4. In order to participate in the Activity, participants should fill in their full name, e-mail address, nationality, age and select one of the areas of interest available from the relevant list ("interests/passions")
5. By completing the participation form to take part in the Activity, the participating persons will automatically enter the SNAPPI draw for the prizes specified below.
6. In particular, the offered gifts-experiences related to the Activity are six (6) and six (6) total winners will be selected through separate drawings held for each gift-experience. The categories of the experiences offered are as follows:
- Music
- Sports
- Food
- Gaming
- Arts
- Travelling
7. The exact experiences ("Gifts") included in each of the above categories will be revealed at a later stage. Upon their announcement, these terms and conditions and the Activity website will be updated accordingly, and participants will be notified by email of the experiences offered.
8. In order to participate in the draw with the Gifts, the participating persons are not required to have previously activated the SNAPPI application and to have established a customer relationship with SNAPPI.
9. The Gifts to be offered by SNAPPI in the context of the Activity, are determined by SNAPPI at its sole discretion and their exchange with other gifts or cash redemption is prohibited. Furthermore, the Gifts are personal and non-transferable.
10. In case of unavailability of the Gifts, as described above, SNAPPI is entitled to offer alternative gifts to be chosen by SNAPPI itself. In case of force majeure, security reasons or other circumstances beyond SNAPPI's control, SNAPPI may and is entitled to NOT offer the Gifts, in which case SNAPPI shall be exempt from any liability and shall not be obliged to offer alternative gifts of any form and value. SNAPPI shall not be liable for any defects in the Gifts or for any other cause and shall not be liable for or assume any obligation to the participants and/or winners.
11. Participants, if selected as winners, state and warrant that they will not sell or offer for sale or dispose of the Gift for commercial or promotional purposes.
12. Each of them acknowledges and accepts that SNAPPI makes no warranty in relation to the quality and properties of the Gifts and has no responsibility, nor any obligation to replace them, in relation to the Gifts. For any issue that may arise in relation to them (including but not limited to actual or legal defects) the winner will refer solely to the supplier of the Gifts. Accordingly, SNAPPI shall have
no liability in the event that the supplier of the Gifts refuses to deliver the Gifts or provide the relevant services.
13. Each Gift is likely to be subject to specific terms and conditions depending on the supplier of the Gift. Therefore, to redeem the Gift (e.g. to participate in the respective experience), the respective Gift recipient will have to comply with the conditions and restrictions of the supplier (e.g. as to the day and time when the respective experience will be available).
C. DURATION - STAGES OF THE OPERATION
1. Entries will be accepted between 12/03/2025 and 24/04/2025 [23.59 hrs] via the SNAPPI website https://www.snappibank.com/ . Any entry submitted outside this specified time period will be considered invalid and will not be considered.
2. SNAPPI reserves the right to limit or extend the duration of the Activity, by amending these terms, with immediate effect. Such amendment shall be effective from the date of its publication on the website https://www.snappibank.com/.
3. SNAPPI will send a notification to the participating persons when early access to the SNAPPI application will be available and instructions on how to activate their access to the email address they have provided. Participating Persons acknowledge how if they do not meet the terms and conditions for enrollment as a new SNAPPI customer in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework and SNAPPI's terms and conditions displayed on the SNAPPI application, they will not be able to complete their enrollment in the digital application or may be required to contact SNAPPI to provide any additional documentation.
4. The draw for the winners of the gifts will take place on the 29th of April 2025. The draw will take place electronically at SNAPPI's offices [49 Stadiou Street, Athens] in the presence of SNAPPI's competent executives using an automated system and specially designed software, which ensures the integrity of the process and the absence of human intervention. Also, an additional seven [7] alternates
– runner-up participants will be drawn for each Activity gift. Users who have selected the corresponding "passion point" in the relevant field of the entry form will be entered into the respective draw.
5. SNAPPI has the right to extend the duration of the Activity, cancel the draw or change the date of the draw. In this case, it will notify the participants either by means of an announcement which it will communicate through its website or by any other appropriate means.
6. The winners of the Gifts will be notified within a reasonable period of time by sending a message to the e-mail address indicated in the entry form.
7. In any event, any entry (even by a winner) at any stage - including at the Gift-giving stage - may be cancelled for the following reasons:
(a) if it does not comply with these terms in their entirety, all of which are considered substantial,
(b) because of a restraint under these terms,
(c) if for any reason it is not possible to contact him or her within the time limits set out in these terms; and
(d) if he/she does not present a legal document proving his/her identity and age when receiving the Gift.
D. DELIVERY OF THE GIFTS
1. The winners will be informed about the exact way of receiving the Gifts at the email address they have provided when filling in the Activity participation form or by contacting SNAPPI representatives. The identification of the winners' details is a prerequisite for the gifts to be awarded.
2. Winners must accept the Gift and provide the necessary identification in accordance with the instructions and within the deadline indicated by SNAPPI. If, for any reason, a winner does not respond in time, the entry will be cancelled, and the Gift may be awarded to a runner-up. Redemption deadlines are set by the relevant supplier of the Gift.
Ε. CONDITIONS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
1. This section contains information about the collection of your personal data and their processing for the purposes of conducting the Activity. Please also refer to our Privacy Policy, which is posted on our website, and which applies in addition to these terms.
2. Recipients of your data will only be SNAPPI's authorized partners, which assist in the implementation of the Activity (e.g. cloud hosting provider, marketing provider, social media manager, etc.) and the businesses - suppliers of the Gifts. Your personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of executing and implementing the Activity and informing the winners. The personal data of the
participating persons will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area. SNAPPI takes all appropriate technical and organizational measures, as defined in the applicable legislation, to ensure an appropriate level of protection for the personal data of participants.
3. SNAPPI processes the data you have provided when submitting the Activity participation form, for the purposes of 1. organizing and completing the Activity (early access and participation in the draw) and 2. informing and communicating with you in the context of the Activity legal basis for processing:
contract performance).
4. The personal data of the participants will be kept as follows: (a) in case the participants gain access to the SNAPPI application and successfully complete their registration as customers of SNAPPI, their data will be kept based on the Privacy Policy which they will have accepted by completing the Digital Onboarding, (b) in case the participants do not successfully complete their registration as customers, their data will be deleted after the competition has been held and the deadline for returning the Gifts has passed.
5. SNAPPI is responsible for the processing of participants' personal data and processes only data related to the information you have provided to SNAPPI through the form for participation in the Activity.
6. Each participating person has the right of access, information, correction, objection to further processing of their personal data, as provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679 and Law 4624/2019) and the right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority (the Data Protection Authority): Kifissias 1-3, P.C. 115 23, Athens, Greece, telephone: +30 210 6475600, e-mail: contact@dpa.gr ). To exercise his/her rights, each participating person may contact SNAPPI, at the contact details dpo@snappibank.com.
7. If you consent to each of these, SNAPPI will (i) send you news and updates and (ii) post your full name on its website and/or social media in case you are the winner of the competition, possibly mentioning the gift you have won. In this case, the processing of your personal data will be based on your consent. At any time, you may freely withdraw consent to the processing for any of these purposes.
If you choose to receive SNAPPI news and updates, we will keep the data you have provided to us through the Activity participation form for the purpose of sending SNAPPI news and updates, until your consent is withdrawn. Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, and SNAPPI will again be the Data Controller. To withdraw your consent, you can contact SNAPPI by sending an email to dpo@snappibank.com.
F. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. SNAPPI reserves the right to unilaterally modify these terms and conditions, to shorten or extend the duration of the Activity or to revoke it with prior notice by any appropriate means, to replace the Gifts with others of equal value at its discretion and in general to modify any term of the Activity by means of an announcement through the website https://www.snappibank.com/. SNAPPI shall be exempt from any liability in relation to the postponement or cancellation of the Activity and/or the draw or the aforementioned amendments thereto, which shall apply as set out above and, in any case, shall reserve the right to award or not award the gifts to the winners of the draw, in the event that the draw has been held prior to the postponement or cancellation of the Activity or prior to the amendment of these Terms and Conditions of Participation for any reason whatsoever.
2. In case any of the participating persons wishes to withdraw their participation in the Activity, they can send an email to info@snappibank.com with the subject "Request for Withdrawal from the Waitlist Activity". In this case his/her participation will be cancelled, and his/her personal data will be deleted.
3. SNAPPI is not responsible in case of incorrect registration or incomplete data on the part of the participants or in case any of the participating persons does not meet the requirements to join the SNAPPI application in order to become a customer of SNAPPI according to the terms and conditions of Digital Onboarding.
4. SNAPPI is not liable in any way for (i) network, hardware and software disruptions of the participant's network and/or malfunction of the application of any nature that may result in limited, delayed or lost entry or any other problem or damage.
5. SNAPPI reserves the right at any time to exclude any participating person who has submitted false or inaccurate entries or personal information.
6. The Terms of Activity, as applicable, are governed by Greek Law. For any dispute that may arise as to the interpretation or application of the above terms, the Courts of Athens (Central Headquarters) shall have concurrent jurisdiction with the other courts competent according to law.
